Choosing an IBC fitting

Check your tank outlet thread first; most UK and EU 1000 litre IBCs use an S60X6 coarse thread, so an S60X6 adapter will fit. Then choose the outlet: a quick connect or click-lock IBC to hose adapter for watering, a barb for larger flexible hose, or an MDPE coupler for a fixed pipe run.

Fitting without leaks

Check the cap's seal is seated, wrap PTFE tape on any threaded tap joint and tighten by hand. Close the main lever valve before swapping taps so you are not working against a full tank.
