Clear Tarpaulin Sheets – Transparent Covers That Let Light Through

People choose a clear tarpaulin sheet when blocking the light would be a problem: over plants, a greenhouse frame, a covered seating area or a work area where you still need to see. A transparent tarpaulin keeps the rain off without turning the space dark.

100gsm or 300gsm?

A 100gsm clear tarpaulin is light and easy to handle, suiting seasonal cover over plants or a pergola. A heavy duty clear tarpaulin at 300gsm is thicker and better where the sheet will take more wind or stay up longer. Clip-on eyelets let you add fixing points exactly where your frame needs them.

Using a clear tarp for greenhouse and plant cover

Fix a clear sheet taut and angled so rain runs off rather than pooling, which would block light and strain the eyelets. On sunny days, leave an edge open for airflow so plants underneath do not overheat.
